Yarn Tasting: Friday June 13th: 6:30pm – 8:30pm.
A cozy sit-down event with some refreshments, hands-on crochet or knitting, and good company! Each participant will receive a variety of yarns to 'sample' which, one by one, they can cast onto their hook or needle while yarn specs, pattern-making suggestions and finished objects are presented. Wet Felting Workshop: Sunday July 13th, 10am - 12pm
In this hands on workshop you learn how make felt fabric using wet felting technique. Choose from the wide selection of fibre in store for your felting. You can simply cut the fabric into squares to make coasters, or with the pattern provided make a notions or crochet hook pouch. You will be provided with a template for making a notions/ crochet hook pouch. Sign up here.
Tunisian Crescent Shawl: Starts Sunday July 13th: 12:30pm – 3pm, 2 part class
Tunisian Crescent shawl will introduce you to some beautiful new textured stitches; Honeycomb and Lace patterns, as well as utilizing Tunisian Knit stitch and Reverse simple stitch. In the first class we will start the shawl, learning increases, the honeycomb stitch, how to count your rows and the Reverse simple stitch and knit stitch. Sign up here.

Natural Dyeing Hand Painting Workshop: Sunday July 20th, 12:30pm - 3pm
In this hands on workshop you learn how to prepare extracts, use shifters, combine colours then hand paint your own yarn! Thrummed Mittens Workshop: Thursday August 24th, 6:30pm - 8:30pm.
Would you like to learn how to make thrummed mittens? In this fun 2 hour workshop you will learn all about thrumming, how to seperate the roving and make individual thrums, and then knit them into your project. FairIsle and Steeking Workshop: Tuesday August 5th & 19th 6:30pm – 8:30pm, two part class.
The first week we will cover two handed colourwork Fair Isle knitting including catching/ weaving in your yarns. If two handed colourwork is not for you, Rebecca will show you how to work with yarns coming from the same hand so your yarns don't tangle too. Sign up here.
