Toe-up Sock Knitting Class | in person 3 week class

You need to know how to knit and purl to take this class. 

This is an in person sock class for anyone who has never knitted socks before. Over 3 weeks you will learn how to make toe-up socks. You will learn all aspects of toe-up socks, Judy's magic cast-on, left and right lifted increases, Japanese short rows, stretch bind off and how to sew in your ends neatly.

Included is Cosy Beddy sock pattern by Rebecca Glazier, a Bulky weight pattern perfect for learning how to make socks.

Dates: 

• Saturday December 2nd, 9th and 16th from 9:30 - 11.30am. 
• Sunday December 3rd, 10th and 17th from 9:30 - 11:30am

Materials required (not included):

• 120g/ 134m/ 146y of Bulky weight yarn which includes nylon/ acrylic/ silk for strength. We have WildWestDye Bulky weight yarn or Estelle Chunky in store for you to choose from.

• 5mm/ US size 8 DPN's or magic loop

• Darning needle.

Make up classes are not available, if you miss a session, Rebecca will do her best to get you back on track. 

Credit for future classes will only be provided if we are notified either by phone or email at least 3 days in advance of the class or workshop, or a refund minus $15 administration fee. 

Please note - Baaad Rabbits is located in an old building with no insulation - if it is cold outside, the shop is also cold in the morning - please dress accordingly.
