Slipper Bootie crochet workshop | Botties + Rasta

This is an in person workshop held at Baaad Rabbits in New West.

You need to be confident in working a single crochet to take this class.

Slippers are a perfect gift for you or for someone you love at Christmas! Join us for a slipper bootie workshop where you will learn how to crochet a slipper to fit. You will finish your slippers at home, but learn all the skills you need during the workshop.

You need to be comfortable trying on the slipper as you make it during the class.

You will need to prepare the sole, working a blanket stitch around with cotton waxed thread included in the kit before the start of the class.  See blanket stitch YouTube video here. Holes in the sole are pre cut.

Materials required (not included):

• Yarn: 2 x skeins of Rasta or another Super Bulky yarn.
• Botties Slipper Sole kit
• Hook: 6mm hook (5.5mm for loose crocheters) Waves, ChiaoGoo or Dreamz available.
• Removable stitch marker

Credit for future classes or a refund minus $15 administration fee will only be provided if we are notified either by phone or email at least 3 days (72 hours) in advance of the class or workshop.

Please note - Baaad Rabbits is located in an old building with no insulation - if it is cold outside, the shop is also cold in the morning - please dress accordingly.
