Thrummed Mittens | 2 hour workshop

You need to know how to knit and purl to take this class. 

This is an in person class held at Baaad Rabbits in New West.

Would you like to learn how to make thrummed mittens? In this fun 2 hour workshop you will learn all about thrumming, how to seperate the roving and make individual thrums, and then knit them into your project. You can either work on the mitten pattern, or work a flat swatch as your preference.

If you will be working on the mitten, please ensure the ribbing is complete before the start of the class.

Materials required (not included):

• Thrummed Mittens, a free pattern (Ravelry link) by Tanis Lavallee
• Yarn: 100g/ 200m of worsted weight yarn, choose from Lang Merino+, Sweet Georgia, Cascade 220, Wave.
• Roving: Options in store available as follows: Chaotic Fibres, Ashford fun packs, Sarah Elizabeth battling, West Coast Colour

• Needles: Shorties, Long circulars for magic loop, or DPN's as per your preference in 4mm.

Credit for future classes or a refund minus $15 administration fee will only be provided if we are notified either by phone or email at least 3 days (72 hours) in advance of the class or workshop.

Please note - Baaad Rabbits is located in an old building with no insulation - if it is cold outside, the shop is also cold in the morning - please dress accordingly.
