Emotional Support Crochet Chicken | 3 part class

This is an in person class held at Baaad Rabbits in New West.

You need to be confident in working a single crochet to take this class, this is a great skill builder class!

Join our Spring-A-Long with this Emotional Support Crochet Chicken! During this 3 part class you will learn all the skills you need to make your chicken, and maybe many more!

In the first class we will work on the tail, ensuring your understand the short rows, how to join the two tail pieces together and how to start the body. Homework to complete up to the Neck.

Second class we will work the head, beak, and ensure you understand the comb, wattle and underbelly.

In the last class your chicken will come to life! We will sew/ crochet all the parts together.

Materials required (not included):

• Pattern: Available to purchase on Ravelry here.
• Yarn: Worsted weight yarn in two colours, we used Waves and Silk Harmony for the sample, or see Chicken packs here.
• Yarn in red and gold for beak, comb & wattle, see kit here.
• 12mm sparkle safety eyes, see here.
• Hook: 4.5mm - Waves or Clover
• Locking stitch markers
• Polyfil available here.

Dates: 

• Thursday March 27th, April 10th & 24th 6:30pm - 8:30pm
• Saturday April 5th, 12th and 26th, 2pm - 4pm

Make up classes are not available, if you miss a session, Rebecca will do her best to get you back on track. 

Credit for future classes will only be provided if we are notified either by phone or email at least 3 days in advance of the class or workshop, or a refund minus $15 administration fee. 

Please note - Baaad Rabbits is located in an old building with no insulation - if it is cold outside, the shop is also cold in the morning - please dress accordingly.

We request you do not attend the class if you are feeling unwell, please note, partial class refund is not available, and the 72 hour cancellation policy applies.
