Cauline Headband | Short Row Colourwork | 3 hour workshop

You need to know how to knit to take this class, you do not need to have much experience in knitting, this is new to knitting friendly too!

This is an in person class held at Baaad Rabbits in New West. 

In this fun workshop you will dive into the wonderful world of Short Row Colourwork. This is a relatively straightforward yet impactful technique. You will learn how to follow the chart, count your rows to check you are on track, learn how to change your colours and carry the contrast colour up the side of the piece.

Rebecca will demo how the headband is joined to create the twist apperance, and there is a video link in the pattern too!

Materials required (not included):

• Yarn: Two colours with high contrast in Sport weight yarn. 25g/ 75m in the main colour, 15g/ 45m in the contrast colour. Sample made with WildWestDye Silk/merino Sport, yarn kit available here.
  
• Needles: 3.5mm needles (straight or circular as per your preference)
• Pattern: Cauline by Linnea Ornstein on Ravelry, we recommend you print out the two pages of charts for the workshop.
