Sunflower Crochet granny square | 2 part class

This is an in person class held at Baaad Rabbits in New West.

You need to be confident in working a double crochet to take this class.

Together we will make a Sunflower granny square, in the first class you will learn how to make the Sunflower, the second class you will work the border and learn how to join the squares together.

This class will cover:

• Magic Ring
• Standing stitch (how to join a new colour whilst working a double crochet)
• Puff Stitch
• Cluster Stitch
• Single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet & treble crochet.
• Flat seam crochet joining technique.

There are so many things you can make with the Sunflower, market bag, pillow, sweater, cardigan or a blanket! Rebecca is thinking of making a cardigan or sweater!!

Materials required (not included):

• Yarn: Four colours of yarn, we recommend Estelle Double knit (available in store) 

• Hook: 4mm - available in store - Waves is recommended for the Sunflower, and Knitters Pride/ dreamz/ basic for joining the squares.

Sunday November 12th and 26th (one week break in between) 1:30pm - 3:30pm

Make up classes are not available, if you miss a session, Rebecca will do her best to get you back on track. 

Credit for future classes will only be provided if we are notified either by phone or email at least 3 days in advance of the class or workshop, or a refund minus $15 administration fee. 

Please note - Baaad Rabbits is located in an old building with no insulation - if it is cold outside, the shop is also cold in the morning - please dress accordingly.
