New workshops & on and off the hoop!
Leo & Roxy loving!
Oh my, our order of Leo & Roxy has arrived, we've restocked with 30 colours, many of them new to us, and I really could take at least 10 of them home without a second thought!
We haven't got all the photos up online yet, so the best way to see them, in all their glory, is at the store!

Ashford restock
Also new in this week is our order of Ashford goodies! We've stocked up on needle felting supplies, kits, books and fibre! There's a new to us Halloween set, and I couldn't resist stocking up the scarves and adding some new colours! I've committed to making one next week, come rain or shine!

On my hook!
Estepona sweater (Ravelry link) by Ana D is on my hook! It's working up quickly and is looking oh so pretty! I have realised that I chose a colour that is a very similar saturation to my skin colour, oops.
The oops being that the filet design shows off the most when there is a contrast, so I'd need to wear this with a white or dark tank/vest underneath, if I wanted to be able to see the flower, oh well, it's such a pretty colour I probably just don't care.
Whilst looking at Filet inspo, I came across this super fun Floral top (Ravelry link) - from a distance the white and yellow look a little like fried eggs to me, which is cool if that's your thing, but I think I'm going switch it up and do a lemon background with either white or lilac flower centres. The design is in DK, so of course I'm using Anchor Bay, and this time I'll test my swatch against my skin too!

And as requested, there's a workshop!

On and off my hoop!
My lovely Llama is complete! He's joined his friends at the store of course and he was so much fun to make, and I can't wait until our new order of Kiriki arrives!!
So as one thing comes off my hoop, of course, one must go on! Ostrich Embroidery kit from Cinnamon Stitching, and yes again, it's in shop colours!!!
I'm stitching my own adventure a little with this one, instead of using mainly backstitch and satin stitch I'm mixing it up a bit. I've used whipped back stitch for a smoother more 3d line, edged the under lashes with fly stitch, and I'm using buttonhole stitch for the eyelashes. I'll be looking through my Embroidery stitch directory to chose different stitches as I go!
