Cosy Christmas Sock Knitting pattern

This Cosy Christmas sock was designed to be made with Estelle's Chunky yarn, you could also hold DK weight double.

As well as knowing the standard knitting stitches, you will need to know, or learn the following techniques:

Judy’s magic cast on
Right lifted increase and Left lifted increase
Japanese short rows
Slip, slip knit & p2tog

Yarn: Estelle Chunky yarn colour Cardinal and Snow, one skein in each colour.

If you want to make a single colour sock, one skein is enough. Weigh your yarn before you start to make sure you don't use more than half a skein for each sock.

Needles: 

5mm/ US size 8 circulars 32” cord or your personal preference for magic loop.

Notions: Darning needle for sewing in your ends.

Gauge: 18 stitches to 10cm - 4” in stockinette using 5mm/ US size 8 needles.

Sizes available: 

S-M to fit foot circumference: 7.5” - 9” / 19-22.5cm
M-L to fit foot circumference: 9” - 10.5” / 22.5-26cm

Length is adjustable
