Beginner Crochet Class | in person 4 week class

This is an in person class held at Baaad Rabbits in New West. A beginner level class for anyone who has never picked up a hook or if you are in need of a refresh.

You will learn how chain stitch, single crochet, half double crochet and double crochet, then apply these skills to making a scrubby and an amigurumi rainbow.

Gains the skills to continue the full matching set on your own at the start of your crochet adventures.

Dates:

• Sunday April 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th 11:30am-1pm 
• Sunday May 26th, June 2nd, 9th and 23rd 11:30am-1pm (no class on Sunday 16th June)

Materials included: Ricorumi Rainbow Crochet book and stuffing for the rainbow.

Materials required: (not included in class price) 3.75mm & 3.25mm crochet hook. DK weight cotton yarn in 6 colours, one pair of safety eyes for the rainbow (optional), and a darning needle.

If required, you can purchase a material kit at Baaad Rabbit prior to the class:

Choose a 6 colour or 10 colour rainbow kit.

6 colours: $18, 10 colour kit: $30

Hooks, darning needle and safety eyes all available to purchase in store if needed.

Make up classes are not available, if you miss a session, Rebecca will do her best to get you back on track. 

Credit for future classes will only be provided if we are notified either by phone or email at least 3 days in advance of the class or workshop, or a refund minus $15 administration fee. 

Please note - Baaad Rabbits is located in an old building with no insulation - if it is cold outside, the shop is also cold in the morning - please dress accordingly.

Covid policy: Baaad Rabbits strongly supports the wearing of masks whilst respecting everyone's personal choice. Masks are recommended but not mandatory.

Rebecca has been knitting since she was 7 years old and has always had a love for textiles and colour. Teaching people how to knit and crochet expresses one of her greatest joys; sharing her creativity and passion with people.
