Beginner Tunisian Crochet Class | in person 4 week class

This is an in person class held at Baaad Rabbits in New West. A beginner level class for anyone who has never picked up a hook or if you are in need of a refresh. Previous experience in crochet is beneficial but not a requirement. 

You will learn how chain stitch, work the Tunisian simple stitch, Tunisian Knit stitch, single crochet and apply these skills to make a dishcloth, neck warmer and/ or wristwarmer.

Included in the class price is the book 'Beginner's Guide to Tunisian Crochet' by Emma Guess.

Dates:

• Saturday April 20th, 27th, May 4th & 11th 11:30am-1pm 
• Saturday April 27th, May 4th, 11th and 25th 1:30pm - 3pm (no class on May 18th)
• Saturday June 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd, 9:30am - 11am.

Materials included: 'Beginner's Guide to Tunisian Crochet'

Materials required: (not included in class price) 

4mm crochet hook

5mm Tunisian Crochet hook + cord, we recommend Chiaogoo SWIV360 cords 

One ball of Spin Spin for the dishcloth

Two colours of DK weight yarn, a high contrast is recommended. 100g skein of each, which is enough to make the neck warmer and wrist warmers. Sample uses Lily and Pine Under the Sea and WildWestDye MidnightGazer.

2 x wooden buttons, selection available in store.

Darning needle and removable stitch markers, we recommend Cocoknits Split ring markers.

Make up classes are not available, if you miss a session, Rebecca will do her best to get you back on track. 

Credit for future classes will only be provided if we are notified either by phone or email at least 3 days in advance of the class or workshop, or a refund minus $15 administration fee. 

Please note - Baaad Rabbits is located in an old building with no insulation - if it is cold outside, the shop is also cold in the morning - please dress accordingly.

We request you do not attend the class if you are feeling unwell, please note, partial class refund is not available, and the 72 hour cancellation policy applies.
