Simply Fibre!

One of the wonderful things about Fibre's West is that we always come back with beautiful made in BC goodies!

First up is Simply Fibre, the woman behind Simply Fibre is Nicole, such a lovely person, with a big love for all things in the fibre world.

We brought in her Art Batts, Rolag sets, Braids and Art yarn, these are all available in store only, and the display is looking oh so pretty!

Two Cozy Chicks

One of my favourtie things to look at/ purchase at shows is hand spun yarn, and there's not a show that I go to, that I don't come home with some.

I'm don't spin yarn myself, and I very much like to support artists who do. I do get asked what I do with hand spun, some of them are 'pets' that live on my shelf, that I pet when I come home (no word of a lie) but others I have plans for. They're great for hats and cowls, and also pairing with solid colours.

We've restocked on Two Cozy Chicks beautiful hand spun, and I'm telling myself not to take any more home... for now!

Cottonwood Creations

Tools, tools, tools! Nothing like a made in BC, handmade, wooden tool! We have Wraps per inch tool, gauge rabbits, measuring squares and more.

The creative mind behind Cottonwood creations is Jasra, they originally started crafting handmade books, which then evolved to create crafting tools with their laser machine.

We also picked up Yarn Keepers, and Row Counters, because Clare said she wanted them! Good enough reason as any I say! The Yarn Keepers are super cute, and we have different colour handles which you can see in store, and the glass bead row counters have a lovely tangible presence and a handy ruler on the back!

New from Kiriki!

Kiriki have released a limited edition Chocolate Bunny Doll for Easter, we think the bunny is *absolutely* adorable, and of course it popped onto my hoop straight away! Once they're gone, they're gone!

The Keeper Bear collection (not limited edition) has now landed at Baaad Rabbits too! These felt doll bears are beautiful, Paula has tucked one away, ready to stitch.

Glowbear basks in the soft flicker of fireflies at dusk and Honeybear tends the gentle sweetness of a buzzing hide. I'm looking forward to seeing Paula's bear come to life!

New sample display

If you weren't able to make it to Fibres West, all the new samples and new yarn is all out and ready for you to take a look! The store is looking oh so good, if I say so myself and I'm looking forward to a fun packed weekend!
