Slipper crochet workshop | Botties + Luxury Fur

This is an in person workshop held at Baaad Rabbits in New West.

You need to be confident in working a single crochet to take this class.

Slippers are a perfect gift for you or for someone you love at Christmas! Join us for a slipper workshop where you will learn how to crochet a slipper to fit, and how to manage the fun but somewhat tricky Luxury Fur! You will finish your slippers at home, but learn all the skills you need during the workshop.

You need to be comfortable trying on the slipper as you make it during the class.

You will need to prepare the sole, working a blanket stitch around with cotton waxed thread included in the kit before the start of the class.  See blanket stitch YouTube video here. Holes in the sole are pre cut.

Materials required (not included):

• Yarn: One ball of Luxury Fur - please purchase your yarn at the same time as the class as we have limited stock.
• Botties Slipper Sole kit
• Hook: 5mm hook (4.5mm for loose crocheters) Waves or ChiaoGoo available.
• Removable (spiral) stitch markers (at least 20)

Please note - Baaad Rabbits is located in an old building with no insulation - if it is cold outside, the shop is also cold in the morning - please dress accordingly.
