Cosy Christmas Hat Knitting pattern

This Cosy Christmas hat was designed to be made with Estelles Chunky yarn, you could also hold DK weight double.

You need to know how to knit in the round and work k2tog and ssk decreases.

Yarn: Estelle Chunky yarn colour Cardinal and Snow. 

If you want to make a one colour hat you will only need one skein for the hat. If you wish to make a pom pom, you will need to buy two skeins. 

Main colour, Cardinal: 45g/ 50g/ 55g - 56m/ 63m/ 68m
Contrast colour, Snow: 23g/ 25g/ 28g - 29m/ 32m/ 38m
Pom pom approx 50g/ 63m

Needles: 

5.5mm/ US size 9 circulars 16” cord.
6mm/ US size 10 circulars 16” cord.
6mm/ US size 10 DPN’s or a 32” cord (for magic loop) for the crown.

Notions: Darning needle for sewing in your ends.

Gauge: 15 stitches to 10cm - 4” in pattern using 6mm/ US size 10 needles.
