Starting Sunday April 2nd is Baaad Rabbits Heidi Bear's MAL! (Make-a-Long)

Come and join in the fun at Baaad Rabbit's Sunday Social for a Heidi Bears starting party!

Why is it called a Make-a-Long? Because you can choose a Crochet or Knit design to make!

Join us for the party at Baaad Rabbits on Sunday afternoon, 4-6pm to start one of Heidi Bear's fabulous designs. You can see them all here on Ravelry, or here on her Etsy Store. You can join in the fun even if you can't make it on Sunday!

The MAL will run for 8 weeks until May 28th when we will have a final party at Baaad Rabbits, and in true MAL style we will draw a winner for a prize! To qualify for a prize you will need to have finished your Heidi Bears piece and one of the yarns must have been purchased at Baaad Rabbits.

If you need any help during the MAL Rebecca will be available every Sunday 4-6pm and most Wednesday's from 6-8pm to answer your questions and help where needed. We also have a African Flower crochet workshop on Sunday May 2nd, 1-3:30pm if you'd like to take a class before the start.

You can make your Heidi Bears design in any weight yarn ensuring you use an appropriate hook or needle, the hook/ needle will need to be a smaller size than normally used for the yarn to ensure the fabric is dense. We have crochet hooks starting from size 1.75mm in store. 

Rebecca will be making the Fatty Lumpkin the Brave African Flower Pony, but turning it into a Unicorn! She will be using Ella Rae Cozy Soft DK with a 3.25mm hook.

Time: 4-6pm 

Covid policy: Baaad Rabbits strongly supports the wearing of masks whilst respecting everyone's personal choice. Masks are recommended but not mandatory.

Attendance: If you are unable to make it (as we understand things happen) we would appreciate you let us know either by email or phone so we can open up your seat for someone else.
