- Sunday December 10th 9:30-11:30am
Included is Behutsam (Ravelry link) pattern by Katrin Schubert
This is an in person brioche shawl workshop for anyone who would like to make their first brioche project! Maybe you have tried before and have not been successful, maybe you have only made a brioche swatch, but now it's time to embark on your first brioche shawl!
You will learn to increase and decrease whilst working the pattern. Behutsam is a great first brioche project as once you've got past the first 11 rows, it's a 2 row repeat which really gets you into the swing of working brioche.
Also helpful is that it only starts with 5 stitches, so if you make a few mistakes at the beginning it's not so bad starting again!
Materials required (not included):
You can make this shawl in fingering/ sport or DK weight yarn as per your preference. In store sample was made on fingering weight. You need between 400-500m of yarn in each colour. We recommend a high contrast in order to help you on your way.
Two stitch markers - preferable ones designed to work next to yarn overs.
Thin strong yarn for life lines
Darning needle for inserting life lines
