Moth Shawl workshop | Mosaic crochet

This is an in person class held at Baaad Rabbits in New West.

You need to be confident in working a double crochet to take this class.

Moth Shawl by (Ravelry link) by Esme Crick uses the inset/ 2-row mosaic crochet technique to create this beautiful DK weight shawl.

This class will cover:

• How to work inset/ 2-row mosaic
• How to make a tassel
• Work the edge
• Optional covering the chains

Materials required (not included):

• Yarn: 2 x colours of DK weight yarn, 200g of each colour. Sample made in WildWestDye pure merino DK. Sweet Georgia Superwash DK, Estelle Double Knit, Vera or Lily and Pine Sunflower DK.
• Pattern: Moth Shawl scarf available on Ravelry.
  • Please bring a print out of the pattern with you.

• Hook: 5mm hook (5.5mm for tight crocheters/ 4.5mm for loose crocheters) Waves or Chiaogoo available.
• Removable stitch markers
